PB TestDriveTM Data Security Provisions
At Performance Benchmarking, we understand that company data are
proprietary information. That is why we have implemented security
measures to protect the data you submit on-line, and to safeguard that
data within our organization.
Data Security
PB TestDriveTM uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption
technology. SSL is a form of public key cryptography that is used for
internet security. SSL is used to authenticate you as a PB
TestDrive>TM subscriber and to scramble your data during
transmission, making it nearly impossible for others to access the
data you send to PB.

Confidentiality Policy
Your performance is your business ONLY! Access to company data is
securely restricted to: (1) the single contact person designated for
your company, and (2) MMTC's Performance Benchmarking staff.
- No other person or entity will know that you are participating
in our benchmarking service.
- No other person or entity will have access to your questionnaire
answers or to your customized report.
Access to benchmarking data is restricted, both physically and
electronically.
- Hard copy questionnaires are stored in a locked office.
- Questionnaires are filed and accessed only by a questionnaire
number, not by company name.
- The report sent to you is the only copy in existence. MMTC does not
maintain a hard copy or an electronic copy, although your report
could be regenerated from the database.
- Access to the Performance Benchmarking database is restricted
to the benchmarking staff.
